Today, the chain is providing compassionate eaters with a delicious new treat, as it launches its first fully vegan burger!

Developed by celebrity nutritionist Lola Berry, the Veggie Vitality has launched as part of the Loved by Lola collection, with the aim of making nutritious and delicious food easily accessible to all.

The burger consists of a beetroot, spinach, sweet potato and quinoa patty topped with avocado, pineapple, carrot and cos lettuce.

The changes to the menu are driven by Grill’d’s own recent research, which found that one in 10 millennials in Australia identifies as vegetarian or vegan. The chain also saw that across all age groups, around 2 million Australians are vegetarian and almost half a million are vegan.

As Berry explains:

With the introduction of burgers like Veggie Vitality, the new menu shows how Grill’d is committed to providing truly nutritious, wholesome and satisfying meals for everyone that have a nutritional value even your mum would be proud of.

Thank you, Grill’d, for listening to consumers and adding a truly cruelty-free choice to your menu.
