VICTORY! Melbourne Restaurant Drops Foie Gras

Great news for ducks!

After hearing from thousands of PETA supporters, Melbourne restaurant Hell of the North confirmed that it will no longer sell cruelly produced foie gras.

Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to sign the petition or write on the restaurant’s Facebook page. We encourage people to take a moment to leave a Facebook comment commending Hell of the North for making the decision to remove foie gras permanently from its menu.

In addition to ditching vile foie gras, the restaurant told PETA that it will soon be introducing a vegetarian menu!

Victories like this prove that we all have the power to improve the world for animals. If you’d like to help more ducks, please help us keep the pressure on two other Melbourne restaurants that have so far failed to stop selling foie gras.

Chez Olivier and Shoya still import and sell diseased, fatty duck livers – even though foie gras production is so cruel that it’s banned in Australia.

This is Foie Gras

Foie gras production is so horrific, it’s BANNED IN 15 COUNTRIES (including Australia). But some restaurants STILL choose to import and sell it.Like these three in Melbourne: http://goo.gl/iwh370 Voice your disgust: SIGN and SHARE. No one needs to be eating diseased duck liver… [WARNING: Graphic]
