PETA is joining Animal Liberation and others in supporting a petition to the Legislative Assembly that could help ban rodeos in New South Wales. If we reach 20,000 signatures from NSW residents, it will trigger a parliamentary debate about the future of rodeos in the state. Can we count on your support?

The activities undertaken at rodeos are already defined as cruel in the NSW Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979. Rodeo operators in the state use a special exemption from this law to keep their cruel events going. This has to stop.
