ZOMBIES TO INVADE SYDNEY FOR ANTI-FLESH PROTEST

Undead Will Come Out During the Day to Urge Sydney-Siders to Go Vegan

Sydney-  Zombies, moaning and drenched in “blood”, will descend on a Sydney KFC restaurant on Thursday with the message “Flesh Is for Zombies – Go Vegan.” The protest, organised by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), is designed to show that all animals, like humans, are made of flesh, blood, and bones and that serving up someone’s dismembered body parts isn’t appetising – it’s ghoulish.

More than 500 million chickens, cows, pigs, and sheep are killed in Australia for their flesh every year. They’re strung upside down, and their throats are slit, often while they’re still conscious.

“Eating the corpse of a tormented, terrified victim is the stuff horror films are made of,” says PETA Associate Director of Campaigns Ashley Fruno. “Don’t be a zombie – think for yourself and protect animals by going vegan.”
