ARIA Winner Sia Is Australia’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity!
Pop star Sia may have just won best female artist, best album, best pop release and best video at the ARIAs, but yesterday she also earned another title: Australia’s 2014 Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity!
Sia won the contest after a fierce month-long battle that recently ended at PETAAsiaPacific.com. Other popular contenders included swimsuit models Renee Somerfield, Ellie Gonsalves and Sheridyn Fisher; musicians John Butler, Xavier Rudd and Missy Higgins; actors Radha Mitchell, Sophie Monk, Isabel Lucas and Abbie Cornish and cricketer Peter Siddle. Winners were selected based on several factors, including vote count.
Sia – a dedicated vegan who shares her home with several adopted dogs – topped the charts this year with her single “Chandelier”, which reached number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. And in addition to her multiple ARIA awards, she was recently declared the third most powerful figure in the Australian music industry!
