PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk is offering a virtual presentation to celebrate the release of the 30th anniversary edition of her bestselling, suspense-filled book of real-life rescue stories, Free the Animals.

Join Ingrid on 26 May at 7pm AEST as she takes you behind the closed laboratory doors and shares the extraordinary true accounts (and backstories) of Animal Liberation Front raids that gave animals back their lives.

You’ll hear uplifting and riveting true tales of daring animal rescues from laboratories, including the stories of four lucky baby chimpanzees saved in the nick of time and a bloodhound who went from filthy cage to fabulous country home. Learn about the brave people who risked their own freedom to free animals. Ingrid will offer compelling stories of ordinary people moved to do extraordinary things and challenge the system by taking daring, direct action.
