Lord of the Fries’ New Vegan Burger Has People Losing Their Minds
Lord of the Fries has been a much-loved fast-food haunt for Melburnians for over a decade and is now also tantalising taste buds in Sydney and Perth.
Serving up an entirely vegetarian menu of burgers, fries, shakes, hot dogs, nuggets, and more – and with almost every item on the menu available as a vegan option – “The Lord” is a one-stop shop for compassionate Aussies who want to get their fast-food fix without eating animal flesh.
The latest burger launch from The Lord, originally planned as a limited-edition offering, has been something of a sensation. Feedback has been so overwhelmingly positive that we wouldn’t be surprised if this taste sensation became a permanent fixture on the menu.
Famous radio duo Hughesy and Kate even tasted the burger – chatting on their show about how amazed they were that the food contained no animal flesh – with Hughesy commenting:
When I first went there, it was before I was a vegetarian – and I did not know it was vegan.
So here it is, the 100 per cent vegan, PETA-approved Das Schnitzel Bürger:
This German-inspired burger includes a vegan chicken schnitzel, tomato, onion, lettuce, aioli, and ketchup. It’s simple yet completely delicious – trust us. This is a goooood burger.
Still need more convincing? Social media has spoken:
In its quest to take over the world, Lord of the Fries has just announced plans to expand further – both in Australia and internationally – and will no doubt introduce countless people to compassionate vegan eating.

Its offerings are good for animals and good for the planet – and just plain good.
Long live The Lord!
