Your Guide to the Best Vegan Restaurants in Bali

From lush national parks to buzzing beach towns, Bali is a dream destination for travellers, and it’s also an incredible getaway for vegan eating. Whether you’re visiting for a yoga retreat, a surf holiday, or a long‑overdue escape, going animal‑free in Bali is easy, delicious, and kinder to animals, the planet, and your health.

Across the island, plant‑based eateries are serving up everything from colourful smoothie bowls and cruelty‑free takes on Indonesian classics to indulgent comfort food and fine dining – no animal suffering required. Choosing vegan meals while you travel is one of the simplest ways to reduce your environmental footprint and help spare cows, chickens, pigs, and fish from misery.

To help you make the most of your trip, PETA Asia has rounded up some of the best vegan restaurants in Bali. Whether you’re a longtime vegan or just getting started at eating with compassion, these spots prove that compassionate food can be unforgettable.
