‘Veganuary’ Is Over – But Why Not Stay Vegan?

Posted on by PETA Australia

If, like thousands of others, you’ve been taking part in “Veganuary” this year, congratulations! You’ve now enjoyed an entire month of eating delicious vegan food.

You’ve also learned some powerful new information about animals, the environment, health and nutrition.

So why stop now? As the saying goes, “We are what we repeatedly do”.

Most of us sit down to eat at least three times a day. Making a compassionate choice each time we enjoy a meal is a tremendously powerful thing to do.

By going vegan, you’ll be saving many animals every year. You’ll also reduce your carbon footprint and lower your chances of developing many chronic diseases.

Now that you know how easy and delicious it is to eat plant foods, please keep going. You can also incorporate other kind choices into your day-to-day life, such as replacing any products which were tested on animals, refusing to support cruel industries that exploit animals for entertainment, and choosing clothing free from wool, fur, leather or silk.

And if you didn’t take part in “Veganuary”? No problem. Grab a copy of our free vegan starter kit, and let us help you kick-start your vegan journey today.
