What a time to be alive!
Melbourne’s annual World Vegan Day event was held on Sunday, and tens of thousands of people descended on the huge venue to enjoy a day filled with food, fashion, beauty, food, fitness, activism, food, and inspirational speeches. And did we mention the food?!
There’s little doubt that much of Melbourne spent Sunday night in a cruelty-free food coma.
Here’s Kirk modelling some of the deliciousness we ate at @world_vegan_day_melbourne today! Blackened Tempeh Po’ Boy from Soy Division 💛 Such a great show of cruelty-free food and products! I love exploring new melbourne-made products, and am super excited to have picked up some amazingly fresh and authentic tempeh from @takeandeatau … Best tempeh I’ve tasted hands down 💯 If you love plant-based cuisine definitely check out World Vegan Day next year! #worldvegandaymelbourne
Australians are leading the world with their appetite for vegan living, so it’s no wonder World Vegan Day in Melbourne was such a huge success.
Below are some of our favourite brands from the event. You can see the full list of exhibitors here.
