Not only is the winning pie vegan, it’s also made by Kiwis. This delicious Thai vegetable curry pie is made in a traditional New Zealand style using 100 per cent puff pastry. Filled with tasty Thai curry and made using flavoursome ingredients like lemongrass, the pie also gets a spicy kick from fresh chillies.
Kochie might not be impressed, but judging by the comments on this Sunrise video, it seems he’s in the minority.
