The Veronicas Tell Iggy Azalea: Fur Sucks!
The Veronicas are never afraid to speak their minds when it comes to animal abuse and have campaigned tirelessly for animal rights.
This week, they publicly threw Iggy Azalea some serious Twitter shade ahead of an MTV video battle.
Making it clear how they feel about the Australian rapper’s wardrobe of cruelly produced fur, they quipped:
“We can take on anyone who thinks skinning an animal and wearing it is ‘fashion’”.
Mic drop.
Azalea has frequently been pictured at red-carpet events draped in animal fur and also posed in a fur coat for Paper magazine.
In 2013, she even dressed up as Cruella de Vil for Halloween – reminding us of another famous face who regularly supports the horrific fur industry.
Thank you to The Veronicas for speaking out for the animals who are victims of this barbaric and unnecessary industry.
